It was a good combination last night as the USA played Australia: Pia Sundhage’s final match as USA coach was a win, but Sarah Walsh was able to score in her final international appearance.

Sarah Walsh to Retire After US Tour

Sarah Walsh, Australian striker who is dating US star Megan Rapinoe, will soon be retired from international soccer.
She cites still experiencing pain in her knees following surgery in 2010 as the primary reason for her retirement.
Walsh retires as the third highest scorer in Australian history, having played in three Asian Cups, a World Cup, and the 2004 Olympics.
She will end her career after the upcoming series of friendlies in the United States, playing Rapinoe in the USA Women’s post-London victory tour.
