Soccer Ally May: Seattle Sounders

We started our final week of our Soccer Ally recruitment month yesterday with one player joining from the Portland Timbers.

The next team from the Pacific Northwest we focus on is the Seattle Sounders, who start off with five members of the senior team on the list, plus a great response from their Academy players as well.

Rookie Andrew Duran and veteran Brad Evans both joined via Twitter in January. Babayele Sodade joined in February and Eddie Johnson a few weeks ago. Roger Levesque participated in last year’s It Get’s Better video with other Seattle pro athetes. Thank you all so much.

Who will join them as a #soccerally. And if you’re the competitive Seattle type, will the response today outdo Portland’s? Help Tweet at the players below!

Seattle Sounders’ Roger Levesque Dons a Kilt for Charity

Seattle Sounders forward Roger Levesque is one of fourteen Seattle personalities who has worn a kilt for a photo shoot and contest benefiting the Ronald McDonald House in the area.

Levesque interestingly told the SoundersFC.com reporter, “Anytime I’m in a skirt I’m a happy man.” While the video has plenty of amusing and adorable moments like Levesque trimming his famous stache with a battleaxe, it fails to address the one must-ask question in every celebrity-in-a-kilt situation: “What are you wearing underneath?”
