Jimmy Conrad Visits Austin Texas
I love my city of Austin, Texas. And I love Jimmy Conrad and KICKTV. So naturally I like this video of Jimmy Conrad and the KICKTV crew visiting the SXSW Festival here in Austin.
Yes, that’s the top of my head in the one shot. Yes, that’s Jimmy in front of a gay bar on a pedicab. Yes, Austin, Texas is exactly as awesome as it looks.
Glad to have y’all down here for SXSW and hope you guys come down again.
Jimmy Conrad Tries On Every New MLS Jersey
US Soccer and Major League Soccer alumnus Jimmy Conrad had the opportunity to preview every new MLS jersey for KICKTV on YouTube. Let this tide you over until we conclude our series of new jersey reviews come next week, when we’ll have our views on Seattle, Los Angeles, Chivas USA, and Portland from myself and our writing crew.
Props to him that while getting special access from adidas he isn’t afraid to point out how there doesn’t seem to be anything different about the Red Bulls’ jersey. As he points out in the video, Jimmy Conrad is no stranger to debuting new kits for MLS teams:
Glad to have MLS coverage back on KICK for the new season!
Jimmy Conrad Vies for Megan Rapinoe’s BFF Attention
KickTV keeps churning out the great videos, including bringing Jimmy Conrad’s American Soccer Spectacular from the podcast world to YouTube.
In the latest installment, Jimmy headed to the US Women’s National Team friendly in Connecticut to win Megan Rapinoe’s heart as his BFF.
This isn’t the first time Jimmy has tried to steal Megan’s BFF status away from Lori Lindsey. He displayed this sexy, sexy look during the team’s Olympics run in August.
Looking forward to the exciting conclusion to that cliffhanger and more many great videos from Jimmy Conrad and the KickTV crew! And don’t worry, we’ll be BFFs with whomever gets left out in this BFF triangle.
KICKTV to Show Us All Jimmy Conrad’s ASS
I’ve been listening to Jimmy Conrad’s ASS for awhile now, and now I finally get to see it on KICKTV:
If you were unaware, Jimmy Conrad’s ASS is American Soccer Spectacular, and if this preview is any indication it will be a great show.
Jimmy Conrad Loses a Bet, Dons a Dress
I really don’t know if anything else needs to be said on the matter, but KickTV’s Jimmy Conrad made some bets and lost over the summer, and pays up in the latest edition of The Mixer. He wears a sports bra and wig for out Olympian Megan Rapinoe, and a dress for ally Danny Cruz of the Philadelphia Union.
Jimmy Conrad is a Joy in KickTV Euro 2012 Coverage
I haven’t watched a single match of Euro 2012. But I have followed all of KickTV’s coverage of the tournament because it has been engaging, interesting, and funny. (And not just because it’s MLS Live commercial break filler.)
Jimmy Conrad does a great job bringing the fan experience and soccer culture of Eastern Europe to his audience back home. And the KickTV crew doesn’t shy away from the controversy either.
It’s the kind of coverage only a dedicated short-form video channel can provide, and I hope its success means we’ll see more of their crew traveling to Major League Soccer events throughout this year, and making Gold Cup 2013 the next long road trip on their docket.
Jimmy, we may have an opportunity for you to show off those moves next month…
Friday Afternoon Video Time Killers
Is everyone else having a slow Friday afternoon at work? Here’s some of what I’ve been watching to occupy the time.
The Houston Dynamo’s TV partner KPRC is doing a half-hour special about the team’s new stadium, and the Dynamo released some highlights from the show today.
Jimmy Conrad Throws Down A Challenge To Dana White
After Dana White called soccer the “least talented sport on Earth” in my town of Calgary (of all places to do that…I guess he didn’t have the balls to do it in Montreal, from which Georges St-Pierre was sitting via a video link during said press conference), here is ally Jimmy Conrad’s response:
And suprisingly, White has accepted! Well, this should be interesting now…
Friday Happy Hour: Best of the Week
Lots of great posts from our writing team this week, so here’s a Friday afternoon recap:
