Tuesday Happy Hour: Super Tuesday!
Okay, much like the Republican Primaries, I may be overselling by saying “Super Tuesday,” but some good stuff nonetheless.
I have gained an hour of free time on Sunday nights now that Seattle’s Andrew Weber and his twin brother Elliot have been eliminated from the 20th season of The Amazing Race. I’ll always have the memories of their skydiving, empanada-making, harp-stringing South American adventures.
Today NBC Sports launched their ProSoccerTalk website with the esteemed Steve Davis at the helm. Now we just need them to give soccer billing above golf and tennis on their site.
Monday Happy Hour: On the Road Again
We may have driven to Frisco and back to watch the USA U-23 Men play San Antonio, but there are lots of other soccer road trips from this past weekend to note:
CBS has plenty of bonus footage of our favorite reality show twins Andrew and Elliot from last night’s Amazing Race, with last night’s episode featuring a leg of the race across Argentina:
- This portion of the race didn’t begin well for Andrew and Elliot, who lost their car keys prior to setting off.
- Not only did a window on their bus break causing significant delays, but Andrew also wasn’t feeling well on the ride.
- These issues were a bit of a concern for host Phil Keoghan, and he discussed them with the pair.
The Amazing Race Week 1 Recap
I can’t wait for March! I am dying to see MLS action. On Sunday my Twitter timeline was blowing all evening. Why? Was there another match? Heaven forbid another trade. None of those, but something to help with the MLS offseason boredom.
A professional soccer player, the very attractive and athletic goalkeeper Andrew Weber, is on The Amazing Race Season 20. He is currently in Florida at the Seattle Sounders FC’s training camp. He and his musical twin brother Elliot are racing around the world with the show for a million dollars.
