San Jose Earthquakes Release Second You Can Play Video

The San Jose Earthquakes released their second video for the You Can Play Project for their annual Pride Night this weekend.

This time their video includes both players and fans, and a call to action to end homophobic chants in their stadium, even when some may consider it to be a tradition. The San Jose Earthquakes made their first video three years ago in an effort spearheaded by Alan Gordon.

The video also marks the third time Chris Wondolowski has appeared in a video for You Can Play, having also participated in a video made by Comcast SportsNet with a number of Bay Area teams.

We think he’s the first athlete to complete a You Can Play video hat trick.
