LA Galaxy Support You Can Play for Pride Night
The LA Galaxy held their third annual Pride Night Wednesday and used the occasion to become the latest MLS team to make a video for the You Can Play Project.
Coaches and players both appeared in the video, including goalkeeper Dan Kennedy who was also involved in the league’s first-ever Pride Night when Chivas USA held one five seasons ago.
Neon Trees lead singer Tyler Glenn who came out in the spring of 2014 was on hand at the game to sing the National Anthem.
A shorthanded LA Galaxy drew the Colorado Rapids 0-0 that night. Robbie Rogers recently had ankle surgery but was able to speak to fans following the game. He lamented not being able to play after scoring his first Galaxy goal during 2015’s Pride Night.
Stay tuned for more You Can Play videos from MLS teams this year — they are coming!
