Chicago Fire Join You Can Play for Pride Night

The Chicago Fire held their fourth annual Pride Night this week, and they used the occasion to debut a new video for the You Can Play Project at halftime.

Forward Quincy Amarikwa, defenders Lovel Palmer and Eric Gehrig, and midfielder Harry Shipp all shared the team’s message of inclusion.

The You Can Play Project and Major League Soccer have been official partners since 2013. Past videos have been made by DC United, the San Jose Earthquakes, Toronto FC, and the Vancouver Whitecaps.

In addition to another Pride tifo at the match, Section 8 will once again be marching in this Sunday’s Chicago Pride Parade. Thank you to the Chicago Fire and Section 8 for their continued support!
