First Pictures from Columbus Crew’s Second Pride Night
This past Saturday was the second Pride Night put on by the Columbus Crew, making them the first team in Major League Soccer to repeat the event.
The Crew continued the streak of teams winning on their Pride Nights with a 4-3 victory over the New England Revolution. Things looked ominous for Columbus with two early goals from New England, but they were up 3-2 by the half with a brace from Federico Higuaín and a goal from Jairo Arrieta. In the second half Lee Nguyen evened things up with a penalty kick but birthday boy Arrieta scored his second goal late in the game for the 4-3 win.
Several gay4soccer readers shared their Pride Night pictures with us via Twitter Saturday night. If you have any you would like to share, Tweet them to @gay4soccer, or email us at gay4soccer@gmail.com
