Soccer Ally May: Portland Timbers
The final week of our big May push saw several New England Revolution players join the Soccer Ally list.
We have been going from teams with the lowest number of players on the list, to those with the most, and interestingly all three Cascadia teams fall in this final week. The first of the three is the Portland Timbers, with four players on the list.
Mike Chabala was the first pro soccer player to participate in the NOH8 Campaign and Mike Fucito participated in an all-Seattle It Gets Better video when he played there. Andrew Jean-Baptiste and Sal Zizzo both joined via Twitter in February. Thank you Mike, Mike, Andrew and Sal!
Who will join them? And if you’re the competitive Cascadia type, will they end up with the most Soccer Allies at the end of the week? Tweet at your favorite players and ask them to be a #soccerally.
